1 package pitted deglet noor (preferred) or medjool dates
1 package cream cheese
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of sea salt
center cut bacon
Mix cinnamon and salt into cream cheese, and then stuff the dates. Wrap with bacon and use a toothpick to secure, or put end side down onto a tray covered with parchment paper. Sprinkle brown sugar over the top. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until bacon is crisp.

Frosting with crispy edges

cups butter, room temp

cup vegetable shortening, room temp

cups powdered sugar

tsp salt
·

tbsp milk
·
2
tbsp light corn syrup
·
2
tsp vanilla extract
Put the butter
and shortening in the mixer with the whisk attachment. Whip for 7 minutes,
until light, fluffy, and white in color.
With the mixer
off, add in the rest of the ingredients. Turn the mixer onto low until all of
the sugar has been combined. Turn back up to medium-high and let mix for
another 7 minutes.
At this point,
add any food coloring or other flavorings (cookie bits), and whip just long
enough to combine.
